On the eve of International Labour Day(1st May):
A programme has been organised infront of Venkatagiri Post Office. Fresh & tasteful Buttermilk has been distributed for about 3000 members on this occassion.
Senior Advocate Smt Girija Kumari and State Government Pensioners Association President Sri Padmanabhaiah inaugurated the distribution.
Hundreds of people in the town participated and contributed their services in the distribution of buttermilk in this hot summer. It is recorded 47 degrees for the last two days. The service offered from the Post Office to the public is appreciated by all.
