Denial of payment on Sundays/Holidays to the substitutes of GDS Staff in
Gudur Division-Reg
This
brings to your kind notice that in Gudur division for all GDS substitutes
payment for Sundays/Holidays has been denied during the month of Sept’ 2015,
for which the reasons are not known?
In
this connection a kind reference is invited to para no.3 of Chief Postmaster
General letter No.Est/Wage rate/DE/09 dt 20/27-7-2012 in which clearly stated
that there is no provision in GDS (C&E) rules,2011 denying drawl of pay
& allowances to substitutes appointed by the GDS staff for
Sundays/Holidays. The said letter has been addressed to all PMG’S in the Circle.
The
Honorable PMG is therefore earnestly requested to do the needful and accord
suitable directions to Postmaster Gudur HO not to deny the Pay & Allowances
to the substitutes of Poor GDS Staff on Sundays/Holidays.
