                   Sub:  Roles & Responsibilities of various officials & officers on implementation of    
Core Insurance Solution’ and set-up of ‘Central Processing Centre’ for PLI &   
RPLI and processing of requests in CPCs where the request received – reg

      Ref:  Director of Postal Life Insurance, New Delhi Lr No: 29-34/2012-L1(Vol-II)

                 At present the work relating to processing of PLI & RPLI new policies, Loan cases, Maturity cases, Revival cases and Death claims are being attended to by Divisional Heads. Now this work is going to be transferred to Head offices on implementing Core Insurance Solution and setting CPC’s.

            A kind reference is invited to the letter referred to above on the above subject, where in duties and responsibilities fixed to APM (Accounts) of HO’s consequent on implementation of Central Processing Center for PLI & RPLI. As per the said letter the duties now entrusted to APM (Accounts) of HO’s are in addition to existing duties. If this is to be attended to by the existing APM (Accounts) without sanctioning any extra posts, it will be difficult to perform the existing duties and proposed duties of PLI & RPLI.

            It is therefore requested kindly to look into the case and cause to create/sanction separate posts for the purpose of PLI & RPLI.
