Clarification sort on DG Portal Regarding sukanya samridi Account

Sir,


Kindly clarify in case of Sukanya Samriddhi Account, deposits can be allowed up to the age of 14 years attained for the girl child irrespective of the date of 
opening of the account                  
                                                                           or 

deposits can be allowed for 14 years from the date of opening of the account irrespective of the age of the girl child (as per the prescribed norms for the age)an illustration with example is required
