Merger of ASP cadre to PS Group B cadre - Proposal sent to Directortae
The General Secretary, All India Association of IP/ASPs has submitted a proposal to Postal Directorate proposing merger of ASP Cadre to PS Group B cade.
The zist of the proposal is that the association is in favour of merger of ASP cadre into PS Gr. B cadre, as Gazetted status was already conferred to ASP cadre in the year 2005. All the post of Sub Divisional Heads presently manned through ASP cadre i.e. 627 to be downgraded to IP and remaining posts of ASPs i.e. available in DO/RO/CO etc would be upgraded to PS Gr. B level.
