Funeral expenses enhanced from Rs. 7000/- to Rs.10000/-

In case of death of Postal Officials hither to Rs.7000/- is being paid towards funeral expenses. Now it has been enhanced to Rs.10000/- both to departmental & GDS officials.

This is a result of Postal welfare board meeting held on 16-05-2012 with Hon'ble Minister Sri Sachin Pilot, in which Com. P. Panduranga Rao General Secretary GDS Union attended.
