As regards,first class mail, the questionofforming L-l and L-2 will be reviewedalong with the Staff Side by forming aCommittee.Regardingclosure/merger Post Offices,ofthe Staff Side requestedthat wheneverthere is a closureof a PostOffice,thereshouldbe a simultaneousrelocation PO in the new emergingofareasetc. The view pointof the StaffSidewas agreedto. On the issueof grantof civilservantstatusto GraminDak Sevaks,the StaffSidewas apprisedthat it was not withinthe competence the Department take aoftoview in the matter. As regards,scrapping new recruitmentofrulesfor PostmanCadre,relaxation normsfor cash handling,ofstoppingreduction TRCA in caseofreductionin work load, removalof ceiling in the matter of compassionateofappointment,adjustment part time casual labourersofand contingentworkersagainst Gramin Dak Sevaks' posts, it was agreed to have a re-look by theDepartment. the persistentOndemands StaffSide,the Chairpersonofagreedtosend a proposal the Ministry Finance enhancement ceilingof bonustotoofforof'3500in case of GraminDak Sevaks.
