All are well aware that CHQ has already extended its support to the strike from 5th July 2011 by Postal JCA comprising NFPE, FNPO and GDS Unions.General Secretary requested to consult our CWC members and take a decision whether we should also go for strike and issue notice to the Department for strike with effect from 05.07.2011 for non settlement of our cadre issues and inform our Circle decision by 13.6.2011. Hence I request all the members particularly CWC members to convey your opinion over phone/email or post your comments in our blog so that our Circle decision can be informed to CHQ. - Circle Secretary.

I am having doubt regarding service promotions, A word in replay is very much Solicieted.
All most all the Govt. departments are issuing promotions according to the service cum fitness besides limited departmental competition examinations "LDCE".
In our department is also providing this facility to some cadres, like GDS to Group-D, IP to ASP, ASP to SP, SP to SSP.
Then, what mistake the PA cadre has done. Why no promotion without examination under service cum fitness? Recruiting as PA and retiring as PA!
Why the PA cadre is denied promotion inspite of capability.
Plase take up the matter with higher authorities to provide promotion to the cadre of IP without examination under service cum fitness.
