Sub: Request for settlement of pending staff grievances – Reg.

Sir,

           The General Body meeting of the AIPEU Gr.C, Postmen & Gr. D, GDS unions held at Gudur on 29.08.2010 and the following long pending problems are brought to the notice of Supdt.of Post Offices for redressel. The meeting further noticed that in Sullurpet Sub Division, ;lot of problems are pending. It is requested to cause necessary immediate action to settle the grievances at the earliest possible.

1. The post of GDS MD, R.V.G.Palem (Mallam) is vacant due to the demise of the incumbent. The delivery work has been attached to the GDS MC of the said BO. Thus he is eligible for 2nd TRCA. Inspector Posts, Sullurpet did not respond to the union monthly meeting item No.6/2-10.

2. Likewise the case of GDS MC, Venadu BO (Union item No.6 (b)/2-10).

3. Grant of 2nd TRCA to GDS MD/MC, Manganellore BO a/w Sullurpeta SO. This is the union item of 5/6-08 and item NO.2 of 4-10.

4. Shifting of Kaluvoya PO building case. Inspector Posts, Sullurpeta is on additional charge of Podalakur sub division also up to 30.06.2010. But the Inspector Posts did not send single visit report even after repeated instructions from Divisional Office, Gudur.

5. MIS bills of Kaluvoya SO from 11/09 to 3/10 are with the then Inspector Posts, Sullurpet (incharge of Podalakur sub division up to 6/10) for want of verification.

6. Paid leaves of the under mentioned officials are yet to be issued by the Inspector Posts, Sullurpet (additional charge of Podalakur sub division up to 6/10) up to first half year ending i.e., 30.06.10 (Annexure enclosed).

7. PO building problems: Some part of Gundavolu and Kadivedu PO buildings have already been collapsed and the remaining portion also about to collapse. It is requested to shift the PO premises to alternate buildings. In the meantime, the officials working may be granted HRA.

8. i) Request to deploy7 one GDS post to Vellanti BO in order to give relief to both the BPMs of Kandamur and Vellanti, since both the BPMs are suffering a lot in attending to both BO bag conveyance and delivery work (Union item No.2/6-10).

ii) Request to deploy one GDS post to Chintavaram BO in order to remove delivery work from the BPM.

iii) Request to delete the delivery work to the BPM, Duggunta BO a/w Kalichedu SO within the present establishment as suggested by the union (This union memorandum dated 03.09.09).

9. Delay in settlement of compassionate appointment cases in Sullurpet sub division. Cases of:

a) Late R.Venu, Ex.BPM, Ramapuram BO a/w Tada (expired on 15.01.2009)

b) Late Sk. Khader Basha, Ex.GDS MC, Vinnamala BO a/w

Nayudupet SO (expired on 23.01.2009)

c) Late Y.Naguraiah, Ex.GDS MC, Karikdu BO a/w Mallam SO

(expired on 29.06.2009)

d) Late S.R.Mohanrao, Ex.BPM, Perimidi BO a/w Menakur

(expired on 06.10.2009)

e) Late M.Suraiah, Ex.GDS MC, Sirasanambedu BO a/w

Pellakur SO (expired on 20.05.2010)

10. Request for suitable instructions to all units in the division for remittance of full cash to one NREGS pay order at a time in order to avoid unpleasantness from the wage seekers.

11. Request to allow S/Sri I.Sudhirbabu, V.Ramanaiah, G.V.Ratnam to ensuing LGO examination on 10.10.10 since the officials concerned are not been responsible for late declaration of results of postmen examination held on 18.03.2007.
12. Request to direct all SDHs in Gudur division for issue of regular app0ointment orders to GDS officials pending since years together. Ex: Sri A.Kumar Raja, GDS Packer, Gudur Bazar appointed on 04.03.1998. But so far no order has been issued.

13. Requirements to Sydapuram PO building.

1) Water motor is not working. Water is getting from outside.

2) Window glasses have been broken.

3) Due to non-availability of sunshade to the back door of PO building, the

Wooden door is in insecurity condition.

4) White washing to the entire PO building required.

14. Request cause to provide minimum furniture like one chair, almirah, one table to Pernadu BO a/w Sriharikota SO and Lalapeta BO a/w V.K.Town SO, since at present nothing is available at the BOs.
15. Request cause suitable instructions to limit substitute arrangements within SO limits. For Ex: One GDS official ;brought from Vojili SO (Gudur South sub division) and ordered to work as GDS MC/MD, PCV Palem BO a/w Chillakur SO (Gudur North sub division, on account of which GDS staff at Chillakur SO/BOs are resisting.
